Bilingualism
Apecs Press has produced its first book in the Welsh language Storiau Llynnoedd Cymru, Cysgodion yn y Dyfroedd. We are fortunate to have a fine translator, Juli Paschalis. She has a high reputation as a translator and writer, and we welcome her to our team. We plan to continue to produce books in Welsh as far as funding allows.

A Major Project
Alun and Margaret Isaac have begun a programme of research into the Lakes of Wales. They plan a series of books of folk tales associated with the lakes, followed by books which will include additional information about their origins and geographical locations.

Lake Stories of Wales Book 1
English and Welsh language versions of this book are now available in the gift shops at the various lake locations on which the stories are based.

Book readings are planned at these locations.

Thomas Thomas of Pontypool
This book was launched at the Civic Centre Pontypool and also at Newport Cathedral, St. Woolos, in May/June 2009. It is now available at a range of retail shops including the gift shops at the Cathedrals of Newport, Brecon, Llandaff and St. Davids. Recognising the World movement towards Churches Together, the Welsh Books Council, the Church In Wales and the Baptist community have given strong support to this publication.

Thomas Jones of Tregaron Alias Twm Siôn Cati
Launched at the Memorial Hall Tregaron, this book provides a historical account that complements the historical fiction entitled The Tale Of Twm Siôn Cati. This book was produced to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of Thomas Jones and was strongly supported by the Twm Siôn Cati Society.

New Authors
Apecs Press have increased their list of authors with two new publications envisaged for 2010/11.
